The Vintage Swing Collective present Make a Song and Dance – a spectacular new theatre show featuring 20 of the capital’s finest vintage dancers and live musicians!

Make a Song and Dance transports you back to the Swing Era, bringing together the joyful sounds of the big bands and the incredible energy of swing dancers.

The show features The Down for the Count Swing Orchestra, a hot swinging band regularly found at top London jazz clubs and vintage festivals, and The Hotfoot Strutters, an award-winning Lindy hop troupe who delight audiences worldwide with their amazing energy.

When the two groups are brought together, the result is sensational – a stunning, energetic and completely unique theatre show with amazing dance routines and fantastic live music.

Seating is general admission, so unreserved. Doors will open at approximately 2:40pm for the matinee and 7:40pm for the evening, and you can sit wherever you like. There is some accessible seating for those in a wheelchair or with reduced mobility, but if you’re booking for a large group with access requirements please let us know.

As this is our first production, we have a just a single ticket price. We hope to add concessions as a priority for our next shows, and we thank you for understanding!

If we sell out a show, we will consider refunds on a case-by-case basis (time until the show/number of tickets, etc.). You may also transfer or sell your ticket to someone else if you’re unable to make it. Otherwise tickets are non-refundable, sorry!

The show will not have any risqué material or scary content (sorry horror fans!), so is suitable for all ages. For children, as long as the can sit through two acts of 50min/40min then they are welcome to come along.

It’s quite a task to put on a show like this, especially for a single day of performance! Depending on the reception of our debut, we would love to bring it back at another time but there are many factors to consider for when/if that will happen. Do let us know if you can’t make this one but would love to see it return – it helps us to gauge interest for a repeat event.
